Intoxicology is thrilled to be hosting this special event showcasing Missouri made Gin. This is an educational open house featuring Spirits of St. Louis, Still 630, and Pinckney Bend distilleries. The evening will be spent tasting a vast array of gin styles and learning about the inspiration and development behind them.
Spirits, cocktails, and light snacks will be served.
Spirits of St. Louis Distillery
Located in Historic Lafayette square, is Missouri’s first distillery since prohibition. Steve Neukomm opened the acclaimed Square One Brewery and Restaurant in 2005 and by 2008 added to his operations with the Spirit of St. Louis distillery. Small but mighty, they produce 14 different spirits of which we will be featuring the Regatta Bay Gin and a special tasting of MOgin made with native Missouri Botanicals.
Basking in the shadow of the arch, and a pitch away from the ballpark, still 630 Distillery is intimate and complex, always pushing forward with unique products. They boast the “Library” which is full of innovative experimental releases and are welcoming to their visitor’s feedback for developing new spirits.
Pinckney Bend Distillery
Situated along the Missouri River in New Haven, Pinckney bend was founded by three longtime friends with a passion for distillation. They began selling their American Style Gin in the fall of 2011 and by Spring of 2012 they received their first gold medal award from the San Francisco World spirits competition. The tasting room opened in 2013 and have been releasing new products and racking up awards ever since.
